Before we took Colleeen and her children to the SD airport we all enjoyed the flowers in Carlsbad.

Easter Eggs

Before Colleen and the children headed back to Illinois for Easter we had an afternoon of Easter Egg coloring on our front porch. Erin took her work did.very seriously. William and Peter were pleased with everything they did.

                                                                        

Beatty Family arrives in California

Colleen, Jim and the children arrive in California on William's 3rd birthday. They soon head off to Disneyland for three days. We join them for one of thise days and have a blast! They also have time for a trip to Balboa Park in San DiegoHere are pictures from Disneyland!

Play Day

Today we had Peter painting in the sun on the back patio with, yet another, table creation by me. It is still in the construction phase. It is a patio table cut down to his size with a hole in the middle that he can use to paint and play cars. Here are some photos.

YES! He can get out of the "hole"! We don't use it to limit his movements. :-)

It would appear that he would prefer to use his fingers since he started to rub his fingers into the paints.

I fixed him a snack with P & B on toast.

He soon discovered that licking the P&B was preferred over eating it the "normal way".

You can see he enjoyed that!

It wasn't too long before he resorted to his old favorite, PlayDough.

. . . . . . and finally, we were back to cars and trucks!
